The board of Directors have 5 members:
Gunnar Hirsti, Drøbak, Board Chairman. Hirsti holds a drilling engineering degree. During the last 20 years he has held various managerial and board positions in various private and listed companies, both nationally and internationally. His managerial duties have been related to companies where, for example, structural and strategic changes have been required.
Per Kyllingstad, Bærum, Board Member. Kyllingstad holds a law degree from the University of Oslo and a Master of Law degree from Temple University, Philadelphia. He has almost 20 years of experience as an attorney, and his main fields of practice include offshore, shipping, banking and finance, property, board appointments and general business law. Kyllingstad is a partner in the firm of Kyllingstad Kleveland Advokatfirma DA.
Siv Jønland Staubo, Oslo, Board Member. Staubo is presently attending a PhD program in the field of Corporate Governance at the Department of Financial Economy at the Norwegian Business School. She is a senior lecturer in the same department. Staubo holds a Bachelor of Applied Physics from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, studies in geophysics from Arizona State University, US, and a Master of Finance from the Norwegian Business School. Staubo has previously worked as a consultant on alternative energy resources and with computer technology for oil exploration.
Hege Skryseth, Asker, Board Member. Skryseth is General Manager for Microsoft Norway. She has more than 20 year of experiences from the IT Industry, and previously she was the CEO of Geogroup AS and Geodata AS. Hege has been engaged by the Government on ITC advisory boards for national IT plans and with the Ministry of Labour for an inclusive workforce policy. She has an executive MBA from The Norwegian School of economics and business administration (NHH) and a bachelor of management The Norwegian Business School (BI).
Management:
Dirk Blaauw, Oslo, Chief Executive Officer. Blaauw holds a business management degree from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He has more than 20 years of experience from managerial positions in a number of shipping and offshore companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, and he has worked with business development in recent years. He has been the CEO of Blom from January 2004.
Lars Bakklund, Oslo, Chief Financial Officer. Bakklund holds a M.Sc in Economics and Business from the University of Mannheim, Germany. He has robust financial and managerial experience from international companies within various industries, namely IT, telecom, media and trading. The last ten years he has held positions as Chief Financial Officer or Financial Director. Prior to joining Blom as CFO he held the position as CFO of Ignis ASA.
Giovanni Banchini, Chief Country Manager Italy. Banchini boasts over twenty year-experience in remote sensing fields and since 1988 has actively contributed to its development into private companies. He is a member of several associations of the sector: A.I.T. (Italian Association of Remote Sensing); AM/FM (Automated Mapping/Facilities Management/GIS); ISPRS (International Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing); ASPRS (American Company of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing).
Jan Skybak, Country Manager Director, Spain. Skybak assumed the responsibility as CMD in Spain (including Portugal, Panama and Colombia), in June 2010. Prior to his current job in Blom, he was President & Owner of TD&C, International Investment, Management & Consulting Group. He has previously been a Director in the Danone Group in Madrid and General Manager and VP Sales & Marketing of the MBO company BSN Glasspack in Paris. Skybak has also worked for Owens Illinois (USA), as Controller in Germany, Treasury Dept in USA and Latin America Sales & Marketing responsible. He has a MBA/MIM from Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA).
