The requirement for geospatial data within the government sector has rapidly increased in recent years. New procedures have been introduced which has created the requirement for geospatial data to be used in new services provided by these agencies, from flood mapping to emergency planning for disaster response. Blom has seen Innovated authorities now using their data throughout each organisation from the reception desks up to the Board rooms.
