Blom has a strong tradition in producing mapping and modeling services for clients and retains many large framework contracts for mapping services. Our large teams of experts are highly skilled in photogrammetry, LiDAR and land survey techniques; we develop 2D & 3D vector maps, digital orthophoto imagery, digital terrain and surface models, 3D city models and cadastral maps.
By investing and using the latest techniques and continually improving work flow procedures Blom has developed an end to end digital production system, enabling the group to deliver geographic information in all GIS and cartography formats for both customer specific requirements and standard specifications.
Blom's product portfolio encompasses airborne solutions for the most demanding geometric specifications. We offer detailed stereo imagery as well as advanced automatic methods for cost effective modelling over large areas.
Vector Mapping - 2D & 3D
Blom undertakes vector or topographic mapping projects throughout the world and has a fully digital production line for topographic and thematic maps. The company has the capability and capacity to manage and execute projects of nearly unlimited scope. Projects are undertaken at all scales for national mapping and large scale civil engineering design applications, meeting all national and international specifications.

Digital Ortho & True Orthophoto Imagery
Digital orthophoto imagery is a regular data deliverable. The digital cameras used by Blom provide for extremely high definition and quality imagery, the ortho-rectified images from the central portion of each digital image is generated through a photogrammetric application.
